Workflows for the EU Machinery Regulation
Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 applies from 20 January 2027, and its Annex IV technical file is kept for ten years after the machine is placed on the market. Five audits report whether the model carries the requirements Annex III asks for and what the file can already be built from, and four generators produce the risk assessment documentation, the machine description, the evidence index and the file skeleton. Read-only on the model throughout, and never a conformity assessment.
Audit against the model
Five read-only runs, in the order to run them: whether the machine has the requirements the law asks for, then whether the model can support the file. A findings report, and never an assessment of conformity.

Four runs that produce the file's model-derived sections in the Regulation's order. Each assumes the audits above have been run and their findings acted on.
